Pere Navarro (Ibiza, 1994) is a trumpeter, pianist, composer, producer, and DJ, recognized as one of the most outstanding talents in the Spanish jazz scene. His innovative approach has reshaped the European music landscape, blending the sophistication and soul of Afro-American music with the eclectic and vibrant essence of his homeland, Ibiza.

This unique signature has led to an authentic sound that transcends traditional genre boundaries. With three albums under his belt, Navarro has solidified a distinctive musical identity. His latest work, QUINTESSENTIAL (2025), an ambitious double album, reaffirms his creative depth and artistic evolution. His previous records, Perenne and Live in Madrid, released under the prestigious Fresh Sound Records label, quickly positioned him as a key figure in contemporary jazz.

His music has resonated on internationally renowned stages. He has performed at festivals such as the Krakow International Jazz Festival—where he was invited twice—the 48Timer Festival in Copenhagen, the Lugo International Jazz Fest (2017 and 2019), and Menorca Jazz, ranked as one of the world’s best jazz festivals by Downbeat magazine. Additionally, he has conquered iconic clubs like Sunset Sunside in Paris and Pizza Express in London, reaffirming his presence in the European scene.

Navarro’s versatility extends beyond jazz. His ability to navigate different genres has led him to collaborate with internationally acclaimed artists. Some of his most notable projects include a three-year tour with Ana Tijoux, producing and recording a single for Rels B, performing at Primavera Sound with Sinkane, as well as working in production and recording with Mochakk, and sharing the stage with Michael Bibi at Ushuaïa Ibiza.

In the electronic music world, Pere Navarro has built a solid reputation as a DJ and producer, taking his creativity to iconic venues such as HÏ Ibiza, Funky Room Pacha, Pikes, Destino, Lío, Nikki Beach, Ocean Drive, Café del Mar, and Six Senses, among others. Internationally, he has made his mark in places like Soho House (Hong Kong and Barcelona), B4 Zanzibar, and Mombassa in Mexico.

His sets, crafted to adapt to any atmosphere, range from laid-back daytime grooves to high-energy club sounds, always infused with his unmistakable style.

A key element that sets him apart is his live performance approach, seamlessly blending trumpet and keyboards with a selection of Funk, Soul, Jazz, and contemporary influences, turning every set into a unique sonic experience that captivates audiences worldwide.

In addition, in 2023, following an inspiring trip to New York, he founded his own label, Rhythm&Bliss, focused on soulful music and spanning from jazz to house. Through this project, Pere explores and fuses various styles, creating a musical approach as eclectic as his DJ sets. As part of this initiative, he has curated conceptual parties in iconic venues such as Pikes, Tipik in Formentera, and Sala Tempo in Madrid.

Aligned with this vision, he co-leads several projects where the fusion of jazz, electronic music, and soulful sounds plays a key role. Louie Lion, alongside Ibiza-based singer and producer Antonio Blakstad, blends the essence of jazz with the energy of electronic music. Les Cousins, in collaboration with Kiko Navarro, explores soulful sounds that range from house and tech-house to Afro-infused rhythms, deeply inspired by Afro-American traditions with a modern twist.

Meanwhile, The Illusions emerged as an evolution of Louie Lion, expanding from a duo format into a seven-piece band that has recently recorded its first EP, featuring legendary musician and producer Nathan Haines.

Among his notable achievements, he has opened for artists such as Cody Currie, Chris Luno, and Nickodemus, solidifying his position as a key figure in the crossover between jazz and electronic music.
